In the wake of yesterday’s post about orchestras with expired agreements, we’re going to play it cool today while we wait for a few of those groups to show up for their first regularly scheduled service today. Ideally, there won’t be any bad news to report but since there is a chance for something to go kaboom, we’re going to keep this space available in case we need a mid-day update.
Stay tuned…
On a related note, we aren’t the only ones noticing that crunch time is approaching; The Chicago Tribune’s John von Rhein authored an article in the 9/14/2015 edition pointing out the Chicago Symphony’s impending eleventh hour.
