Schedule Fusion Is Here!

I am enormously pleased to announce the official launch of Schedule Fusion, a resource management web app designed to help business avoid conflicts and maximize resources.

Features

Among our goals was to make resource management extraordinarily intuitive, simple, and effective. To that end, Schedule Fusion’s features can be divided into two primary areas:

  1. Resource administration: where users manage and edit individual resources, locations, program categories (groups of resources), and resource types, along with performing user management tasks.
  2. Event creation and navigation: this is where users take all of those resources and assign them to events. A filterable calendar and overview lists provide multiple dashboards for users to easily keep an eye on what’s going on.

Usage Examples

We designed Schedule Fusion hand-in-hand with one of my Venture Platform arts organization users, so you can be certain it accommodates the full range of unique needs for those institutions. At the same time, it’s flexibility makes it equally useful for a wide range of businesses.

In the end, we know that each and every one of our users will be different and unique. Not only are users able to create individual resources but they have the ability to organize them via any categorization needed.

This is what helps make Schedule Fusion a custom tailored solution for all businesses. In order to help get a bigger picture, here are some industry specific examples illustrating how Schedule Fusion can benefit such a diverse collection of businesses and organizations.

Schedule A Live Demo

Nothing beats a live demo; to that end, we’re happy to set up a time to walk you through the system so you can see firsthand how everything works. If you want to get in touch to arrange a time, we can learn more about your resource management and scheduling challenges and even gather enough info about what you’re managing in order to input some of your very own resources and locations into the demo.

About Drew McManus

"I hear that every time you show up to work with an orchestra, people get fired." Those were the first words out of an executive's mouth after her board chair introduced us. That executive is now a dear colleague and friend but the day that consulting contract began with her orchestra, she was convinced I was a hatchet-man brought in by the board to clean house.

I understand where the trepidation comes from as a great deal of my consulting and technology provider work for arts organizations involves due diligence, separating fact from fiction, interpreting spin, as well as performance review and oversight. So yes, sometimes that work results in one or two individuals "aggressively embracing career change" but far more often than not, it reinforces and clarifies exactly what works and why.

In short, it doesn't matter if you know where all the bodies are buried if you can't keep your own clients out of the ground, and I'm fortunate enough to say that for more than 15 years, I've done exactly that for groups of all budget size from Qatar to Kathmandu.

For fun, I write a daily blog about the orchestra business, provide a platform for arts insiders to speak their mind, keep track of what people in this business get paid, help write a satirical cartoon about orchestra life, hack the arts, and love a good coffee drink.
