It’s been so long since I’ve had a conference appearance on the schedule, I complete forgot to promote it with my usual schedule. Session description:

Users of all skill levels can join in as we focus on the nuts and bolts of metrics to understand Google Analytics (GA). All attendees will receive step-by-step guides on how to setup and use GA, optimize data quality, and create custom reports. Organizations: walk away understanding how to convert data into action. Individuals: discover how to leverage metrics to become even more attractive to presenters. A generous Q&A rounds-out the skills based session.

This is an updated version of what is certainly the most popular conference session and webinar I’ve run over the past decade. The great thing about the topic is it is constantly evolving so even if you attended a version a few years ago, there is almost certainly enough new information to make attending again worthwhile.

I understand where the trepidation comes from as a great deal of my consulting and technology provider work for arts organizations involves due diligence, separating fact from fiction, interpreting spin, as well as performance review and oversight. So yes, sometimes that work results in one or two individuals "aggressively embracing career change" but far more often than not, it reinforces and clarifies exactly what works and why.

In short, it doesn't matter if you know where all the bodies are buried if you can't keep your own clients out of the ground, and I'm fortunate enough to say that for more than 15 years, I've done exactly that for groups of all budget size from Qatar to Kathmandu.
