Berlin Philharmonic Fire Damage Marginalized

Although an official inspection is pending, Reuters reported that German firefighting officials believe the damage was not as bad as originally estimated. According to the article, this was accomplished by using foam and very little direct water to subdue the fire. More details here.

As of 1:20pm ET firefighters in Berlin have been working to extinguish a fire at the Berlin Philharmonic’s concert hall.
